Please join us for the Wellbeing at Work Conference which takes place on the 9th May. The event includes a keynote speech by Dr Amy Bradley, a morning of stimulating discussions and breakout sessions.

The conference is part of GibSams established Wellbeing at Work initiatives. Research by the World Health Organisation found that a negative working environment can lead to mental health concerns. Many of us spend much of our lives at work; creating positive working environments is at the heart of the charity’s mission as it works to reduce suicides in Gibraltar.

Why attend?

By attending this event, you will gain insights into contemporary occupational wellbeing practices and have an opportunity to delve into topics relevant to your organisation through expertly moderated Breakout Sessions.

Price

Tickets are £100 per person. Your ticket includes a light networking breakfast and the conference but does not include lunch which has an extra cost of £25.

Dr. Amy Bradely

Speaker

Our keynote speaker is Dr Amy Bradley. The title for the keynote session is:

“Sustaining Success Amidst Overwhelm and Burnout”

Dr Amy Bradley is a renowned author and researcher in compassionate leadership and employee wellbeing.

Her research has been published in academic and practitioner publications, including Harvard Business Review, Forbes Magazine and Management Today and in the press, including BBC Online and The Guardian. In 2020, she made it onto the prestigious Thinkers50 Radar of global management thinkers. Her first book, The Human Moment, was longlisted for CMI’s Management Book of the Year. In it, she argues that organisations must find ways of becoming more compassionate in an age where work is increasingly dehumanised. Her second book, Running on Empty (co-authored with Katherine Semler, Senior Partner at Korn Ferry), was shortlisted for leadership book of the year in 2023 and is a story-based exploration of burnout at work, which has become particularly prevalent in the working population in the wake of COVID 19.

As a Professor and contributing faculty member at several leading business schools, she designs and facilitates leadership development programmes for a range of international clients. She also runs a private consulting practice where she coaches leaders and supports teams to foster compassionate, healthier, and more engaged workplace environments.
