GibSams is delighted to invite Gibraltar’s over-55 community to join us for our brand-new GibSilver Coffee Mornings, launching on Monday 8th September and taking place every Monday morning thereafter from 9:30am to 11:00am at Pizza Express in Ocean Village.
These weekly gatherings are part of our GibSilver initiative, created to reduce isolation and promote meaningful social connection among older adults. Whether you’re coming for a chat, to make new friends, or simply to enjoy a warm coffee in good company, you’ll find a welcoming space and friendly faces waiting for you.

We’re proud to be partnering with the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s and Dementia Society (GADS), who share our mission to create supportive and inclusive spaces for older people—including those living with memory-related conditions. Together, we’re making it easier to stay connected and feel part of a caring community.

In addition to the coffee mornings, GibSilver offers a free, confidential phone line for anyone aged 55 or over who just needs a friendly chat. Our trained listeners are available Monday to Friday, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Just dial 8000from any Gibraltar landline or mobile.
We’re also looking for compassionate volunteers who can spare 30 minutes a week to make a call to someone who’d love to hear from you. Full training and support is provided.
