World-leading online lotto betting operator Lottoland is sponsoring a Gibraltar-based campaign called ‘Seats of Hope’ to raise awareness of those suffering from mental health issues and GibSams.
The ‘Seats of Hope’ campaign, run by the charity Whole Wild World, features handcrafted mosaic benches located around Gibraltar created by local artist, Ireana Schwock. The benches depict stunning images of nature across the landscape and aim to promote mental wellbeing, biodiversity and local artistry.
As part of the initiative, some proceeds will be donated to Lottoland’s chosen charity, GibSams, who provide a listening service for those experiencing mental health challenges.
Lottoland recently held an internal competition to choose the design for the bench it would sponsor, which will be located in Europa Point in Gibraltar. The winning design, a loggerhead turtle with 61% of the votes, will feature alongside the words: “Like the turtle, may you find strength in patience and hope in endurance. Rest here and know that every step forward is a victory.”
