Frequently asked questions

Our helpline is for anybody who feels the need to talk and share their feelings. You don’t have to be in crisis or be feeling desperate, but if you do feel that way, our trained listeners can always help. You may be feeling lonely, in despair or possibly considering self-harm or suicide, or you may just have things you’d like to get off your chest and talk about with someone you don’t know and who doesn’t know you.
Being listened to in confidence, and being accepted without prejudice and without being judged, can alleviate general distress, despair and suicidal feelings. We want to help and are here for anyone who needs us.
