GibSams has launched its latest television advert, developed in partnership with local creative agency Creative Rock Stars and made possible thanks to the continued support of Peninsula. The animated advert, produced with AI tools, promotes GibSams and GibSilver under the Befrienders Gibraltar banner.
This year’s campaign centres around the message that GibSams and GibSilver are here for the community in more ways than ever before. As the organisation continues to grow in both size and scope, the advert highlights the wide-reaching support available to anyone who needs to talk or connect with someone.
To ground the animated concept in real and relatable life, the advert features the voices of some of Gibraltar’s most recognisable personalities, including Richard Cartwright, Lucinda Snape, Stefan Borge, Michelle Rugeroni and Shelina Assomull. Their involvement helps ensure the message feels close to home and reflects the charity’s community-led spirit.
The project was brought to life by Creative Rock Stars, using the latest AI-assisted production tools to blend innovative technology with a local touch. This marks another step forward in how GibSams uses creative storytelling to raise awareness about mental health and the power of connection.
The charity is also grateful to Peninsula, whose generous funding has supported the production of GibSams’ annual television advert for the past several years.
Speaking about the campaign, David Revagliatte, Trustee at GibSams, said:
“This advert shows how far we’ve come as a service. It reflects not just the support we offer, but the heart of the community that makes it possible. Using local voices was an important choice. It reminds viewers that help is always close and that the service belongs to everyone in Gibraltar.”
GibSams would like to thank Peninsula, Creative Rock Stars, and all those involved in the project, as well as the many individuals who continue to support the charity’s work throughout the year.
