SUMMARY:Sunrise of Hope 2026
DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets \nMark your calendars for an inspiring start to your weekend! \nThe annual Sunrise of Hope event will be taking place this year on Saturday the 12th of September. A heartfelt community event to support mental well-being and solidarity across Gibraltar. \nWhat to Expect \n\nCommunity Gathering at Dawn: We’ll gather in Casemates Square\, have a gentle warm up\, collect a painted stone and depart on the walk of choice. This gentle start allows time to centre ourselves\, embrace hope\, and stand with those living with mental health challenges.\nLight Refreshments & Connection: After our sunrise walk\, join us for breakfast. It’s a chance to connect with friends\, share experiences\, and foster the community bonds that underpin emotional resilience.\n\nWhy It Matters \nStarting the day together signals more than a beautiful view—it’s a shared commitment to hope\, recovery\, and community care. Mental well-being often begins in those early moments when we choose compassion over isolation\, connection over withdrawal. \nSunrise of Hope aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and remind us all of the power we hold in supporting one another. Whether you’ve attended the walk in previous years or are joining us for the first time\, this dawn gathering offers an unhurried space to just be—with others\, with hope. \n\nStart: Casemates at 5:30 am \nRoutes: There are two routes. The challenge route will summit the nature reserve and Mediterranean steps. The family route to Europa Point\, is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. \nEnd point: Casemates\, where breakfast will be available. \nFor any questions contact Scarlett at scarletthumphreys@gmail.com or through WhatsApp +447912579050. \n\n \nOrder T-Shirt Separately

SUMMARY:24-Hour Weighted Bag Carry
DESCRIPTION:This International Men’s Day (18–19 November)\, join Lottoland and Men in Need Gibraltar in Ocean Village for the 24-Hour Bag Challenge. Participants will carry a weighted bag for 24 hours\, symbolizing the burdens men often carry in silence. Tragically\, a man’s life is lost to suicide every minute. this challenge represents 1\,440 men who will have taken their own lives in those 24hrs. \nIt’s time to shake off the stigma and shame surrounding men and mental health\, and make it easier for men to say: “I’m alright… not OK.” \nAll proceeds and donations go directly to Men in Need Gibraltar\, helping men access vital support\, guidance\, and resources. \nWhether you volunteer for a shift\, donate\, or simply cheer on participants\, your support helps highlight the struggles men face and shows them they are not alone. \nIf you wish to get involved\, share your story\, or want further information\, please contact: charity@lottoland.com

SUMMARY:Sunrise of Hope
DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets \nMark your calendars for an inspiring start to your weekend—on Saturday 13 September\, GibSams proudly presents Sunrise of Hope\, a heartfelt community event to support mental wellbeing and solidarity across Gibraltar. On GBC’s The Hub\, we shared how this gathering will be a powerful way to begin the day together—at sunrise—with connection\, reflection\, and shared purpose. \nWhat to Expect \n\nCommunity Gathering at Dawn\nWe’ll gather in Casemates Square\, have a gentle warm up\, collect a painted stone and depart on the walk of choice. This gentle start allows time to centre ourselves\, embrace hope\, and stand with those living with mental health challenges.\nLight Refreshments & Connection\nAfter our sunrise walk\, join us for tea\, coffee\, and a healthy breakfast. It’s a chance to connect with friends\, share experiences\, and foster the community bonds that underpin emotional resilience.\n\nWhy It Matters \nStarting the day together signals more than a beautiful view—it’s a shared commitment to hope\, recovery\, and community care. Mental wellbeing often begins in those early moments when we choose compassion over isolation\, connection over withdrawal. \nIn last night’s appearance on The Hub (GBC)\, our team spoke about how Sunrise to Hope aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and remind us all of the power we hold in supporting one another. Whether you’ve attended other GibSams events or are joining us for the first time\, this dawn gathering offers an unhurried space to just be—with others\, with hope. \n\nStart: Casemates at 6am \nRoutes: there are two routes. One is more challenging \nEnd point: Casemates\, where breakfast will be available. \nFor any questions contact Scarlett at Scarlett@gibsams.gi or through WhatsApp +447912579050. \n\n \nOrder T-Shirt Separately
